Laurence Fishburne to star in the new Superman
Another replenishment happened in the acting troupe of the new version of Superman. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Laurence Fishburne joined the already formidable cast and took on the role of Daily Planet editor Perry White. According to the Man of Steel comic mythology, it was Perry White who hired Lois Lane and Clark Kent and then was one of the main guests at their wedding. In the previous version of Superman this role was played by Frank Langella. Filming has already begun with an eye on the premiere in June 2013. The movie stars Julia Ormond, Michael Shannon, Amy Adams, Diane Lane, Kevin Costner, Russell Crowe and Henry Cavill. The director of the project is Zack Snyder.
