Nolan chose location for The Dark Knight II
Christopher Nolan has decided on the movieing location for the final part of the Batman trilogy. According to the Pittsburgh Post Gazette, the new "home" The Dark Knight will be Pittsburgh, PA. The newspaper claims that the director has already negotiated this with the city authorities, and he was guaranteed all possible support. "We found everything. what we need in Pittsburgh, and I will gladly spend the summer in this beautiful city working on the picture, '' commented Nolan himself. Downtown will be at the complete disposal of the crew for six weeks. What explains Nolan's desire to turn Pittsburgh into a new Gotham is still unknown. Probably Warner Bros. received some special privileges from the city authorities. Note that the two previous episodes of the trilogy were movieed mainly in Chicago.
