The Transformers 3 movie crew, which completed work in Chicago and Detroit, will relocate to the Cape Canaveral Kennedy Space Center. According to the NASA Space Flight resource, episodes of the movie will be movieed in the area of launch complex 39A, from which the Discovery space shuttle will be launched into orbit on November 1, 2010.

It is alleged that hundreds of crew members have already received permits for work in the area of launch pads, and not only shuttles, but also Atlas and Delta launch vehicles. Whether Michael Bay will movie the very start of Discovery has not yet been specified.

Recall that the movie will focus on the space race between the USSR and the United States and the role that alien robots played in it.

The space shuttle Discovery was first launched in 1984. Since then, it has completed 38 flights into orbit and is now the oldest manned spacecraft.
