Ridley Scott to invite Harrison Ford to Blade Runner sequel

The sequel to Blade Runner is likely to feature Harrison Ford, the lead actor in the original. Director Ridley Scott spoke about this in an interview with The Independent.

“I don’t think Harry will have the main role, but I’m going to involve him in some way,” he said. What the actor himself thinks about this is still unknown.

It is noteworthy that earlier Scott himself and the producer of the project Andrew A. Kosov repeatedly said that Ford would not find a place in him.

Recall that Blade Runner, based on Philip Dick's Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep, was released in 1982 and is now considered a classic of the fantasy genre.

After Dick's death, several works were written to continue the story he invented. It is quite possible that one of them will form the basis of the new movie.
