Johnny Depp will play Gogol
Johnny Depp has signed a contract with the Italian movie studio Scemenze to participate in a project dedicated to the great USA writer Nikolai Vasilyevich Gogol. According to Dire Assurdit à newspaper, the movie will talk about "Roman" period of the life of the classic, which was marked by the creation of his most famous works. It is assumed that Depp will not only become the director of the picture, but will also play the role of Gogol himself. The project will be produced by Depp's longtime partner and friend Tim Burton.
