Six actresses are applying for a role in the third Batman
Christopher Nolan has compiled a shortlist of actresses to be cast for the two female lead roles in The Dark Knight Rises. According to the Deadline resource, Keira Knightley, Naomi Watts, Anne Hathaway, Blake Lively, Natalie Portman and Rachel Wise will fight for the role of Bruce Wayne's girlfriend and his new opponent. Previously, it was suggested that Nolan was looking for a performer of the role Catwoman, who in the comics was not only a rival, but also the beloved of Bruce Wayne.
