Actress Lyudmila Kasatkina passed away
People's Artist of the USSR Lyudmila Kasatkina died at the age of 87. The famous theater and movie actress survived her husband, director Sergei Kolosov, by only 11 days. Lyudmila Kasatkina graduated from GITIS named after Lunacharsky in 1947 and entered the service at the Central Academic Theater of the USA Army, where she worked all her life. The actress starred in such popular movies as Tiger Tamer, The Taming of the Shrew, Operation Trust. Kasatkina's extraordinary voice is known to all children of our country : it was she who voiced the panther Bagheera in the animated movie Mowgli.
