Alcon Entertainment has been quick to deny rumors of talks with Harrison Ford about his involvement in the Blade Runner sequel. This is reported by the Deadline resource.

According to the producer of the project, Andrew A. Kosov, he and director Ridley Scott are `` only at the stage of forming the main idea of the movie, determining the direction of the plot and finding a scriptwriter. '' Ford's participation in the sequel is highly unlikely.

Note that earlier Kosov has repeatedly stated that the main character of the original movie, Rick Deckard, will not find a place in the sequel. Harrison Ford himself has not yet commented on the situation.

Recall that Blade Runner, based on the work of Philip Dick; Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep "was released in 1982, and is now considered a classic of the fantasy genre.

After Dick's death, several works were written continuing the story he invented. It is quite possible that one of them will form the basis of the new movie.
