Chris Hemsworth will mentor Snow White (Topic)

Chris Hemsworth, who played Thor in the Marvel Comics adaptation of the same name, joined the cast of Snow White and the Huntsman. According to the resource Deadline, he will play a huntsman, whom the evil queen sends to kill Snow White living in the forest. However, he falls in love with her and becomes her mentor, teaching the intricacies of survival in the thicket.

Viggo Mortensen previously refused the role of the gamekeeper. After that, she was offered to Hugh Jackman, but the latter also showed no interest.

The roles of Snow White and the Queen are to be played by Kristen Stewart and Charlize Theron, respectively. The movie is expected to be released in December 2012.
