Oliver Stone will name the reasons for the Cold War
Oliver Stone, known for his revelatory movies, intends to tackle the most ambitious project in this sense - a 10-part documentary movie dedicated to the main events in the history of his country over the past 60 years. As THR clarifies, based on previously unpublished documents, Stone will talk about the causes of the Cold War, the nuclear bombing of Japanese cities, the Vietnam War, conflicts in the Kennedy clan, and so on. The director hopes that after the release of the series, many important historical the events that shaped the contemporary United States will be viewed differently by citizens. The series is expected to be released in 2010. Whether the director will begin movieing right now, or after the completion of the Wall Street sequel, has yet to be announced.
