Terry Gilliam's long-suffering project The Man Who Killed Don Quixote troubles haunt again. According to the director himself in an interview with MTV, the production of the movie has now been stopped due to financial difficulties.

According to Gilliam, the leading actors Evan McGregor and Robert Duvall are still on the project, but when production of the movie begins, he cannot say.

Recall that Gilliam was going to shoot this movie back in 2000, but then, as a result of a strong flood, most of the scenery was destroyed, and the insurance company became the owner of the movie's script. Later, Gilliam managed to buy it out, but the project lost one of the main roles - Johnny Depp.
