The number of Oscar nominations for special effects has dropped (Topic)

Academy of Film has reduced the number of nominees for the 2012 Oscars from 15 to 10 in the Best Special Effects category. From now on, the following movies will be considered nominees:

2. " Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Part 2 "

3. " Keeper of Time in 3D "

4. Mission Impossible 4: Phantom Protocol

5. " Pirates of the Caribbean 4: On Stranger Tides "

6. " Living Steel "

7. " Rise of the Planet of the Apes "

8. " Transformers 3: The Dark Side of the Moon "

9. " Tree of Life "

10. X-Men: First Class

The final list of nominees for the award will be announced on January 24, 2012, and the awards ceremony will take place on February 26.
