The Expendables 2 Premiere Date Announced (Topic)

The Lionsgate Film Studio has announced the premiere of the sequel to the action movie The Expendables. According to the official press release, the movie will be released on August 17, 2012.

So far, the only possible competitor to the movie at the box office can be considered the continuation of The Cobra Shot, which starts a week earlier. Sylvester Stallone intends to play the main role in the sequel, but whether he will take the director's chair is still unknown.

Earlier it was reported that he is ready to cede it to another director, retaining the production functions. It is not specified who will join Slay on the set.

Stallone himself planned to invite Arnold Schwarzenegger and entrust the roles of the villains to Bruce Willis and Jean-Claude Van Damme.
