Evan McGregor will replace Johnny Depp as Sancho Pansa
Evan McGregor will replace Johnny Depp in Terry Gilliam's The Man Who Killed Don Quixote. This was announced by the director himself in an interview with Empire magazine. Recall that Gilliam was going to shoot this movie back in 2001, but then a natural disaster destroyed almost all the scenery, and the insurance company that covered the losses became the owner of the movie script. It took the director years to acquire the lyrics again. By this time, however, Depp's schedule, which was to play the main role, was so tight that the seats for Don Quixote it was not found in it.
