After the impressive collection of the first part of the movie "Kingsman: The Secret Service" (with a budget of 81 million, the movie grossed $ 414 million), it was clear that we would not have to wait long for the second part. And literally two months after the release of the first movie, 20th Century Fox officially announced that work on the sequel had begun. But the director's chair at that time remained vacant, as Matthew Vaughn was considering an offer to make a movie about Flash Gordon. But already in June 2015, Matthew gave an interview to a major publication and said that he had already started writing the script. Although, according to him, he initially doubted the need to continue.

And literally: "I didn't know if I wanted to shoot this movie. I was worried about the villain, and the success of spy movies largely depends on the villain. . But, waking up one day, and a little later Halle Berry agreed to play the role of an agent of American intelligence. Pedro Pascal, Jeff Bridges, Channing Tatum and even Elton John also joined the project.

Filming began on May 15, 2016 in Birmingham. The location was the Leavesden movie set, owned by Warner Bros., where all the Harry Potter movies were previously movieed. On September 13, 2016, the main movieing was completed. And additional episodes were movieed a little later, in December 2016 in London.

And the new characters Holly Berry, Channig Tatum, Pedro Pascal and Jeff Bridges are not acting, but rather fooling around, making the movie a parody of movies about super spies.

Such a vinaigrette of new elements was crammed into a somewhat prolonged plot, for example, explosive lotions, grenade launchers, diplomats, parachute jackets, electric lasso, robotic dogs, mechanical tattooists and much, much more, which at some moments comes to the thought that you are watching the movie "Spy Kids".

The politicized plot can hardly be called well thought out, there are a lot of questions to it, as well as to the motivation and actions of key actors. That is why the main villain Poppy, who rebuilt her Retro base in the mountains on ruins, there are almost no guards and heavy weapons, when she easily destroyed all Kingsman units with missiles around the world? And there are dozens of such questions.
