Paramount will direct a movie about Lance Armstrong
Paramount Pictures has acquired the movie rights to an as-yet-to-be-released book, The Circle of Lies: The Fall of Lance Armstrong, about the famous cyclist. This is reported by the Deadline. The author of the work is NY Times correspondent Julien Macour, who has written articles about Armstrong for ten years, covering the cyclist's struggle with cancer and his many victories in the most prestigious competitions. JJ Abrams will supervise the project. It is not yet known whether he will limit himself to producing functions or take the post of director.
