Xbox One became the undisputed bestseller in North America on Black Friday, following the national holiday of Thanksgiving. This is reported by the Gamespot edition.

In general, 53 percent of the total number of sold set-top boxes fell on the flagship console of Microsoft. PlayStation 4 finished second with 31 percent. The Xbox 360 (9 percent), Nintendoo Wii U (6 percent) and PlayStation 3 (1 percent) followed by a large gap.

Note that a year earlier, the advantage of Xbox One over PlayStation 4 was not so significant - 31 versus 15 percent of the total number of consoles.

The growth in sales of the Microsoft console is facilitated by a flexible pricing policy, as well as the fact that it is implemented together with gaming exclusives. The latter, according to interviewed buyers, is one of the important factors determining the choice.

Recall that the Xbox One went on sale on September 4, 2013, the console itself is already the third console from Microsoft. Many games are released exclusively for this console, such as "Halo 5" "Scalebound" and others. Play Station 4 was released on November 15, 2013 and is an eighth generation set-top box made by Sony.
