According to Nielsen, the AMC zombie drama "The Walking Dead" became the most watched TV project mentioned on Twitter in 2014. This is reported by The Wrap.

"The Walking Dead" topped the annual list of the highest rated TV shows on Twitter. Each episode attracted an average of 4.934 million people, and the number of mentions was 576 thousand. In 2013, the zombie drama ranked second with slightly lower scores – 4.891 million people per episode and 490 thousand tweets.

This year the second place went to the ABC show "The Bachelor", which was watched by 3.842 million viewers and which was mentioned 215 thousand times. The third place was taken by the ABC Family TV project "Pretty Little Liars" with 3, 807 million people and an average number of tweets of 489 thousand.

In fourth place is the FX anthology American Horror Story: Freak Show (3.607 million and 357 thousand), and in fifth place - – HBO's Game of Thrones (3.507 million and 159 thousand).
