John Turturro to star in the Criminal Justice miniseries
The cast of the HBO miniseries Criminal Justice there have been changes. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Robert De Niro dropped out of the television project due to a conflict in movieing schedules. His place will be taken by actor John Turturro. The seven-hour crime drama is an adaptation of the BBC's 2008 British miniseries of the same name. HBO was forced to suspend production of the drama due to the sudden death of James Gandolfini, who was approved for the lead role in the television project in September 2012. In the center of the plot – Jack Stone (Turturro), attorney specializing in services for victims of accidents.
