The MGM movie company has acquired the rights to movie adaptation of Dmitry Glukhovsky's fantasy novel Metro 2033. This is reported by The Hollywood Reporter. Recall that the post-apocalyptic work takes place after a nuclear war, when the few survivors took refuge from the deadly radiation in the Moscow metro. In the center of the plot is a young man named Artyom, who, on his journey to the surface, has to deal with mutants, the Fourth Reich and various warring factions that have occupied subway stations.
