Roger Howarth, who soap opera fans may remember from his role as Todd Manning in General Hospital, has a recurring role in The CW's The Flash. This is reported by Deadline.

Howarth will play a character named Mason Bridge, a famous reporter from Central City Picture News. He is tasked with looking after the new employee Iris West (Candice Patton), but their relationship becomes complicated when Bridge begins to gather information about Barry Allen's boss, Dr. Harrison Wells (Thomas Cavanagh).

Recall that The Flash says the story of Barry Allen (Grant Gustin), a Central City police assistant forensic scientist, who comes to town to deal with a series of unexplained robberies that may be related to the tragedy, what happened to him in the past. By coincidence, Allen becomes the fastest man on Earth - The Flash.

The series also stars Rick Cosnett (Detective Eddie Thawne), Daniel Panabaker (Caitlin Snow), Jesse L. Martin (Detective West), Stephen Amell (Oliver Queen), Michelle Harrison (Nora Allen), Robbie Amell (Ronnie Raymond), Clancy Brown (Wade Eiling), Dominic Pursell (Mick Rory), Wentworth Miller (Leonard Snart), John Wesley Shipp (Henry Allen) and Victor Garber (Martin Stein).

The Flash premiered at The CW's highest-rated since The Vampire Diaries, with 4.54 million viewers per night.
