Not everyone was happy with the new game from Ubisoft - "Assassin's Creed: Unity", which deals with the events of the French Revolution. According to Gamespot, former French minister and presidential candidate Jean-Luc Melanchon condemned the game's plot for its interpretation of historical events.

He said that the game is "propaganda", which practically characterizes as "nerds" such historical figures as Louis XVI, Marie Antoinette, while at the same time showing the French people as savages. Jean-Luc Melanchon added that "Assassin's Creed: Unity" portrays Maximilian Robespierre as a true monster, even though he was a hero of the French Revolution. "This is slander against people who are portrayed in the game as barbarians, bloodthirsty savages," he said in an interview.

Overall, the official described the game as "an image of hatred for the revolution, hatred for the republic, hatred for the people, which is practically unbridled."

As a reminder, "Assassin`s Creed: Unity" was released on November 12, 2014 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. On the same day, Ubisoft received a lot of angry letters from upset fans who discovered a huge number of errors in the game. Developers have to work hard to make the necessary changes.
