Xbox and Showtime to co-produce Halo series
Game developer Xbox Entertainment Studios is in talks with cable TV Showtime to co-produce the game-drama series Halo. This is reported by Variety. Xbox Studios has been developing a series based on the popular series of games with Steven Spielberg's studio Amblin TV for over a year. The script was written by Stuart Beatty. Details of the agreement with Showtime are not yet known, but sources say the episodes are planned to be shown first on Showtime, followed by – on Xbox. Representatives of both sides refrain from commenting.
