Nonso Anosi to star in a thriller based on the novel by James Patterson

Nonso Anosi, familiar to viewers as Xaro Xoan Daxos from HBO's fantasy TV series Game of Thrones, has a regular role in James Patterson's thriller Zoo, which is movieing CBS. This is reported by The Hollywood Reporter.

The thriller, written by Patterson in collaboration with Michael Ledwidge and published in 2012, talks about a massive animal attack on people that swept the entire planet. In the center of the plot – zoologist Jackson Oz (James Wolf), rejecting conventional wisdom. While on an expedition in Africa, he begins to notice strange animal behavior. As the animals become deliberate, coordinated and ferocious, Oz sets out to find a clue to the strange pandemic while there are still places on the planet. where a person can hide from the aggression of smaller brothers.

Anosi will play Abraham, a Botswana safari guide who has a deep knowledge of wildlife and wants to help humanity in its struggle for survival.

Anosi has joined the cast, which at the time of this writing, consists of Nora Arnezeder ("The Words") and James Wolf ("The Crazy"). Arnezeder will play Chloe, a former international diplomat, a strong and sophisticated young woman. She, like Oz, is concerned about the strange behavior of animals.

In addition to "Game of Thrones" Anosi starred in one of the main roles in the NBC series "Dracula". The following full-length projects of the actor – "Peng" and "Cinderella".

The production of the series, directed by Brad Anderson (Into Sight) will be directed by CBS Television Studios. Josh Appelbaum, Andre Nemec, Scott Rosenberg, Patterson, James Mangold, Katie Konrad will act as executive producers. "Zoo" is slated to premiere in summer 2015.
