Benedict Cumberbatch will go in search of Atlantis
Benedict Cumberbatch will star in The Lost City Z, directed by James Gray. This is reported by the Deadline edition. The project will be based on the eponymous work of the writer David Grann and tell the real story of the British archaeologist and traveler Percy Fawcett, who for many years searched for the lost cities of ancient civilizations in the South American jungle. Based on the data he collected, Fawcett concluded that in the unexplored corners of Brazil there is a mysterious city Z, founded, as the researcher believed, by Atlanteans. In May 1925, Fawcett with his son Jack and his friend went in search of him, and no one else heard of them.
