Benedict Cumberbatch to star in Sergei Bodrov's movie
Benedict Cumberbatch will star in the thriller Bloody Mountain, which will be movieed by USA director Sergei Bodrov. This is reported by The Hollywood Reporter. The plot will focus on a mercenary who, as part of a special forces unit, participates in an operation to capture a dangerous terrorist. His group is ambushed, he is left with the captive one on one, and is forced to make his way to his own, fighting off the terrorist's comrades-in-arms, as well as from other mercenaries who are seeking a reward. The project will be presented to potential investors in the European movie market at the Berlin Film Festival. Filming is expected to begin in April 2014 in New Mexico.
