The Television Critics Association has selected the most promising TV projects for fall 2014, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The most promising new show, according to critics, is the Fox crime drama Gotham, which will introduce viewers to the story of the origin of the heroes and villains of Gotham. The second place was taken by The CW's dramedy "Jane the Virgin", and the third place was taken by "Jane the Virgin". Showtime's provocative drama Romance.
