Alice in Wonderland sequel premiere date announced
Walt Disney Pictures has set a premiere date for Alice in Wonderland 2, the sequel to Tim Burton's successful movie adaptation. According to an official press release, the movie will be released on May 16, 2016 of the year. The sequel will be directed by James Bobin, who previously directed The Muppets. Johnny Depp and Mia Wasikowska will play the main roles in the sequel, who will once again become the Mad Hatter and Alice, respectively. It remains to be seen whether someone else from the cast of the first movie will return.
