The painting "Boyhood" continues to collect prestigious professional awards. The San Francisco Critics Community voted her Best Film Project of 2014, also honoring Boyhood director Richard Linklater and co-star Patricia Arquette.

Recall that the movie, which was movieed for many years, captured the process of growth and maturation of the protagonist from 5 to 18 years old. The project has previously received awards from three other influential US movie critic associations - Los Angeles, Boston and New York Network Critics Association. Also, the picture was included in the top ten movies of the year according to the American Film Institute.

In addition, "Boyhood" will be nominated for major awards from the Hollywood Foreign Press Association ("Golden Globes"), including the category "Best Dramatic Film". Such an impressive representation of the project at all events of the award season 2014-2015 leaves no doubt that the movie will also be among the contenders for the main award of the movie industry - "Oscar 2015". A shortlist of Academy Awards nominees will be unveiled in mid-January 2015, with the ceremony taking place on February 22, 2015.
