DreamWorks Animation changed distributor (Topic)

DreamWorks Animation has filed for divorce with Paramount Pictures, a distributor of the latter's projects for many years. This was announced in an official press release.

The agreement between the partners expires in November 2012. Their latest collaboration will be the animated feature Dream Keepers.

DreamWorks Animation will be partnering with 20th Century Fox in the future. The corresponding agreement has already been concluded, and it is valid for the period from 2013 to 2017.

According to its terms, 20th Century Fox will deal with the worldwide distribution of DreamWorks Animation projects for a certain fee, as well as the distribution of products on disc and other carriers.
