Emmy Awards Television Broadcast Rating set a new record. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the program was watched by 17.6 million viewers. This is 33 percent more than a year earlier.

Recall that the ceremony brought a number of surprises at once. The leader in the number of awards was the TV project Behind the Candelabra, which won 11 out of 15 awards.

Popular Hollywood actor Neil Patrick Harris was the host of the Academy Awards.
