Produced by Warner Bros. Television has denied information, published by TV Guide Magazine, that it is in talks with Charlie Sheen for a comeback in the final season of 2.5 People. This is reported by The Hollywood Reporter.
In an interview with TV Guide Magazine, Shin stated that he offered the show's creators the idea of bringing his character back in season twelve, and that both sides were “trying to figure out how to do that.” so that the actor can once again play his character – Charlie Harper.
As a reminder, Sheen was fired from the show in 2011 after publicly insulting the show's creator and producer Chuck Lorrie, CBS and Warner Bros. Television.
In 2013, Shin reached out to Lorrie via Twitter. writing that he has an idea that the showrunner should hear after Shin apologizes for the damage done to him and everyone else. Since Lorrie is not on Twitter, there was no response to the post.
CBS Entertainment Chairman Nina Tassler officially announced in July 2014 that the channel was not in talks with Shin about his return to comedy.
