Viewers paid for David Fincher's new project
David Fincher and Eric Powell, the producer and director of the animated movie Thug, raised the money they needed to continue working on the project. Recall that the fundraiser was organized on the Kickstarter website, one the most popular crowdfunding resources. The creators of the picture required 400 thousand dollars to prepare test videos for subsequent presentation to interested movie studios. At the time of this writing, more than 441 thousand dollars were transferred to their Kickstarter account by fans. Eric Powell thanked all the sponsors for their support on his Twitter page. Each of them will receive different gifts and bonuses depending on the size of the donation. Fincher has been on this project for many years.
