Banshee TV series renewed for a third season
TV channel Cinemax announced the extension of the action series "Banshee" for the third season. This is reported by The Hollywood Reporter. Recall that in the center of the plot of the series – Lucas Hood (Anthony Starr), a thief who served 15 years for theft, who is looking for his former accomplice and beloved Anastasia (Ivana Milicevic). During his absence, Anastasia became Carrie Hopewell, the wife of the Banshee attorney and mother of two. Hood pretends to be a local sheriff and continues to engage in criminal activities, while hiding from the gangsters hunting him, whom he once betrayed. The executive producers of the series – Alan Ball, David Schickler, Jonathan Tropper, Peter McDissie and Greg Yaytans. In September 2013, the series won an Emmy Award for special effects.
