A presentation of the comedy "Bitter! 2" took place in the capital of USA. The creators of the picture presented their work to journalists and the first viewers in the Moscow cinema "October". The press conference was attended by actors Sergei Svetlakov, Yulia Alexandrova, Yan Tsapnik, Yulia Stadnik, Alexander Robak, as well as director Zhora Kryzhovnikov. The artists told, in particular, how the shooting of the sequel differed from the original movie, and the director explained his choice of musical accompaniment for the movie, and also clarified plans for the movie "Bitter! 3". Recall that earlier the movie "Bitter! 2" was included by the USA Cinema Fund in the list of projects that can qualify for state support on a return basis. The financial viability of the comedy is beyond doubt, as the first series became one of the highest-grossing movies in the domestic box office in 2013, earning more than $ 20 million. In 2014, the comedy claimed to be the representative of USA at the Oscar 2015, but during the voting in the Oscar committee, it lost to the movie Leviathan.
