The death of director Tony Scott did not put an end to the plans to create a sequel to the cult action movie Top Shooter. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the project has a new screenwriter, Justin Marks, who previously worked on The Jungle Book.
Nothing is known about the plot yet. Earlier it was reported that the hero of Tom Cruise will become a mentor to young pilots of the US Air Force, as well as shake the old days in aerial combat with drones. The producer of the original movie, Jerry Bruckheimer, will oversee the creation of the sequel.
