Natalie Portman will accompany Michael Fassbender in the next adaptation of William Shakespeare's immortal tragedy Macbeth. This is reported by the ScreenDaily edition.

The actress got the role of the wife of a Scottish lord, seeking to become king. The movie will be directed by the creator of Snow City Justin Kurzel.

As a reminder, Portman and Fassbender were supposed to star in the western Jane Got Guns. However, shortly before the start of movieing, the actor refused to participate in the project.
