More and more exciting details of internal correspondence of Sony Pictures studio become public after a hacker attack on the company's servers. According to The Wall Street Journal, in the fall of 2014, the management of two studios - Marvel and Sony discussed the movieing of the crossover of the universes of Spider-Man and the Avengers. As follows from the correspondence of Sony Pictures President Dag Belgrade, it was about the appearance of Peter Parker in the movie "Captain America 3: Civil War", as in the original comic Spider-Man plays one of the key roles in the story of the confrontation between the two camps of superheroes. The possibility of transferring the movieing rights to the new Spider-Man trilogy to Marvel, while maintaining control of Sony Pictures, was also discussed. However, all these negotiations ended up deadlocked. Recall that earlier Sony postponed the release of the movie "The Amazing Spider-Man 3" from 2016 to 2018 without specifying the exact date of the premiere. This happened after the second series did not show much agility at the worldwide box office. Sony Pictures is expected to discuss further prospects for the franchise in January 2015.
