Benedict Cumberbatch is ready to play Batman in one of the next movies in the franchise. According to Variety, this is how the popular actor answered the question: which of the superheroes he would like to play, asked during a press conference at Comic-con 2014.

How interested in Cumberbatch's candidacy was the management of Warner Bros. , not yet known. As a reminder, Comic-con is planning to celebrate Batman's 75th anniversary.

Another movie featuring this superhero will be released in May 2016. The role of the Dark Knight of Gotham will be played by Ben Affleck.
