About a year after Crytek's free first-person shooter, "Warface" came out on the Xbox 360, the company announced its decision to stop developing the project for the console. According to Gamespot, citing information from the official Facebook page, this will happen on February 1, 2015.

Registered users will be able to continue playing the most current version of the game, but players will no longer be able to buy game currency in Warface - credits. The company did not comment in any way on its decision to end the development of the project, but left a message of thanks to fans: “To all our Xbox 360 players, thanks for the decision to spend your time playing Warface. We hope you will be part of the community enjoying regular new updates, co-op and regular play in the free PC version.

As a reminder, "Warface" is a multiplayer first-person shooter game developed by three Crytek studios in different countries. The game was released in 2012 and is still free. The plot is based on the war between the Blackwood terrorist organization and the Warface special forces unit.
