Taylor Lautner cast as Scream Queens
Twilight vampire saga star Taylor Lautner has joined Ryan Murphy's Scream Queens anthology. Along with John Stamos, previously approved, Lautner will play one of the main male roles in the second season of the comedy horror. This is reported by The Hollywood Reporter. The second season of the anthology, created by Murphy and Brad Falchuk, takes place in a hospital, where the most interesting and strange cases related to medicine are investigated. Lautner will play Cassidy Cascade, a hospital doctor suffering from a strange illness suspected after a series of tragic events in the institution. Jamie Lee Curtis, Emma Roberts, Leah Michelle, Abigail Breslin, Keke Palmer, Glen Powell and Nice Nash, who starred in the first season, will repeat the roles of their characters in the continuation of the series. Stamos will play chief surgeon Brock Holt, a talented doctor who hides his secrets. For Lautner, the role in Scream Queens will be the first regular on American television in recent years. The actor stars in the UK sitcom Cuckoo and recently co-starred in the Netflix western comedy The Ridiculous Six. The Scream Queens Season 2 premieres on Fox on Tuesday 20 September 2016.
