David Prowse reveals real Darth Vader helmet
Famous to all true Star Wars fans, actor David Prowse, who played Darth Vader in the original trilogy, demonstrated a priceless relic - a real helmet and mask of a Sith Lord, who were in a funeral pyre during the movieing of Return of the Jedi. The photo was posted on Prouse's official Facebook page. Vader's attributes depicted on it are strikingly different from those shown in the movie Star Wars: Episode 7 - The Force Awakens. In one scene, key antagonist Kylo Ren vows to continue Vader's work by looking at his scorched mask. Recall that David Prowse, possessing impressive physical parameters, was hiding under the mask and costume of Vader, but in the ending of Return of the Jedi, actor Sebastian Shaw became the "face" of Vader. The voice of the character was James Earl Jones. In 2010, when celebrating the anniversary of the movie "Star Wars: Episode 5 - The Empire Strikes Back", David Prowse said that he was not invited to the celebrations, as, in his words, "burned too many bridges among themselves and studio Lucasmovie ".
