The Relativity movie studio has made a very unusual staffing decision for the movieing of a remake of the fantastic movie "The Raven". According to Mashable, citing its sources, Jason Momoa was offered the lead role for Game of Thrones star and Aquaman in DC comics.

Corinne Hardy, creator of the horror movie "Out of Darkness", has been appointed to direct the movie. An indirect confirmation of Momoa's consent to take part in this project can be a photo on the actor's official Instagram page, in which he is captured with Hardy. "The only way to officially confirm the conclusion of an agreement between the two men is with a pint of black beer," read the caption under the picture.

Recall that the original movie, based on the work of James O'Barr, was released in 1994. In 2010, preparations were announced for the creation of a new version. Since then, the project has changed many directors and leading actors. It could have been played by Bradley Cooper, Tom Hiddleston, James McAvoy and Luke Evans. The last contender was Jack Houston, but he also left the project in mid-2015 due to a conflict in movieing schedules.

It is not yet known when the creators of the remake will be ready to start movieing.
