Paramount has pulled out of a movie called "Triple Frontier," which was to star Tom Hardy, Channing Tatum and Mahershal Ali. This is reported by the publication Deadline with reference to its sources. The reason is called "creative differences" primarily with Tom Hardy. The latter dropped out of the project.

Recall that the action of the picture, which the studio has unsuccessfully tried to launch into production since 2010, was supposed to take place in one of the most dangerous regions in the world - on the triple border between Paraguay, Brazil and Argentina, where the law enforcement forces of these countries have no power but numerous gangs run everything.

At the initial stage, the director of the "Triple Border" was Catherine Bigilow. and Johnny Depp announced his readiness to participate in it. But in the end, it was not possible to agree on all the details, and Bigelow decided to leave the project, negotiations with Depp also ended in vain. Subsequently, Paramount decided to entrust the production of the movie to Jay C. Chandor, who directed such popular movies as "The Limit of Risk" and "Hope Will Not Fade."

The latter was still leading the project at the time of this writing. Most likely, he will try to offer it to another major Hollywood studio.
