DOOM System Requirements Announced (Topic)

In anticipation of the start of beta testing of the game "Doom" studio Bethesda Softworks has adjusted the system requirements upward. In order to fully enjoy the gameplay, users will need the following hardware configuration:

Minimum system requirements (1280 ? 720 resolution)

OS: Windows 7 / 8.1 / 10 (64-bit only);

processor: Intel Core i5-2400 or AMD FX-8320;

RAM: 8 GB;

video card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670 or AMD Radeon HD 7870 with 2GB of memory;

free space on hard disk: 22 GB;

Steam account;

high speed internet connection.

Recommended system requirements (1920 x 1080 resolution):

OS: Windows 7 / 8.1 / 10 (64-bit only);

processor: Intel Core i7-3770 or AMD FX-8350;

RAM: 8 GB;

graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 or AMD Radeon R9 290 with 4GB memory;

free space on hard disk: 22 GB;

Steam account;

high speed internet connection.

DOOM beta testing starts March 31st on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 consoles. It ends on April 3rd. The main condition for participation in the testing will be pre-ordering the game "Wolfenstein: The New Order".

The game will premiere on May 13, 2016.
