Luke Cage became the most watched Marvel TV series

As reported by ComicBook, citing Symphony Advanced Media, the third named superhero telecomic by Marvel and Netflix, Luke Cage, became the streaming service's top-rated show in 2016. Symphony Advanced Media did the math and figured out that "Luke Cage" is Marvel's most watched TV hit on Netflix. The streaming service will not release ratings for its original shows, but the monitoring company found that Luke Cage attracted more viewers than the Stranger Things mystical drama and investigative documentary. 34 percent of Netflix subscribers aged 18 to 49 watched the show within 32 days of its premiere on September 30, 2016. These numbers mean that Telecom is a competitive player on Netflix, but is far from hitting hits like Orange Is The New Black and Fuller House. Luke Cage should also be wary of the Gilmore Girls: The Seasons mini-series, the sequel to the revived popular show, which kicks off November 25, 2016.
