The rental schedule in USA for the sci-fi movie Doctor Strange, based on the popular Marvel comic book series, has been changed. As reported in the official press release of The Walt Disney Company CIS LLC, received by the editorial staff of the Cinema News portal, instead of November 3, 2016, as previously planned, the picture will be presented to domestic viewers on October 28, 2016. What caused this change is not specified.
In this rental window, Doctor Strange's only competitor will be the fantasy movie Voice of the Monster, which is designed for approximately the same audience. As for American viewers, they will be able to appreciate the movie adaptation starting November 4, 201.
Recall that the movie starred Rachel McAdams, Benedict Cumberbatch, Tilda Swinton, Mads Mikkelsen, Benedict Wong, Scott Adkins, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Michael Stahlberg, Juani Feliz, Amy Landecker and other actors. Directed by Scott Derrickson.
Doctor Strange was the third most anticipated movie project for the fall season, according to a study by Fandango, the largest e-ticket seller.
