Sony and Marvel agree on a white, heterosexual Spider-Man

The new Spider-Man that Sony Pictures and Marvel has shared is supposed to be "white and heterosexual."

According to the Variety edition, these are the terms of the license agreement concluded by the studios in 2011, fragments of which fell into the possession of the WikiLeaks resource. Among other things, Peter Parker should not use alcohol, illegal drugs on the screen, have sexual relations with persons under the age of 16, smoke, use inappropriate vocabulary in movies with a PG-13 rating, use torture, and so on. Representatives of both companies traditionally refuse to comment on this matter.

As a reminder, in February 2015, Marvel and Sony Pictures agreed to share the Spider-Man image. Following his debut in Captain America: Civil War, the superhero will be soloing the Sony Pictures project, which is set to premiere on July 28, 2017. In the future, Spider-Man will appear in the pictures of both studios.

Sony Pictures has agreed to an unprecedented split of superhero rights after the dismal release of The Amazing Spider-Man: High Voltage, which grossed nearly $ 700 million.
