Electronic Arts has announced the presentation of a new part of the racing simulator "Need For Speed". As follows from the post on the official Facebook page of the series, details will be communicated to all interested parties on May 21, 2015. Judging by the heavily shaded illustration that accompanied the announcement, we can talk about a new episode of the "Need for Speed: Underground" series, the first part of which was released in 2003. The game is being developed by the Swedish studio Ghost Games. In January 2015, Electronic Arts described the game as "very impressive." A little earlier, Markus Nilsson from Ghost Games promised that the studio "will listen to the wishes of users and intend to release a game that fully meets their expectations." Recall that "Need For Speed", the first part of which was released in 1994, is the most successful gaming racing series and one of the most successful franchises in history. In total, about 200 million copies of the game have been sold. The last episode at the time of this writing was the game "Need for Speed: No Limits", released in 2013.
