Steven Spielberg and John Williams to release music compilation
Fans of the works of the famous Hollywood composer John Williams and director Steven Spielberg are in for a surprise. According to The Hollywood Reporter, on March 17, 2017, a three-disc collector's edition "The Ultimate Collection" will be released, which will include the most famous musical compositions from nowadays movie classics. The recording was made in 2016 with the Los Angeles Recording Arts Orchestra, conducted by the maestro himself. The collection includes compositions from projects such as the Indiana Jones trilogy, Minority Report, Saving Private Ryan, Catch Me If You Can, Terminal and others. The publication will also feature a documentary entitled "Steven Spielberg & John Williams: The Adventure Continues", which explores the collaboration and friendship between Spielberg and Williams, as well as footage recorded on set during the production of various movies. It's worth noting that John Williams wrote the music for all but two of the director's movies.
